In these special times when society is battling the COVID-19 pandemic, this project is timely. Its goal is to introduce seniors to a series of new activities that help them maintain an active life and stay connected to each other. This involves learning new communications applications that meet their current specific needs and that are adapted to social security standards. Through this project, seniors are regularly informed about updates relating to the pandemic or any other relevant information. Volunteers speaking Creole, Lingala, Swahili and Arabic participate in discussions on various subjects of cultural, artistic and craft knowledge as well as their habits and customs.
This project is funded by: New Horizons for Seniors Program (PNHA)
