Sofifran’s annual general meeting

At the end of a very full year, the organization Sofifran held its annual general meeting (AGM) in Welland on Sunday, June 23. There was no shortage of activities of every kind, as the year’s report made clear: International Women’s Day, visits to people in need, workshops on entrepreneurship, leadership and victims of crime, presentations at Brock University, Festiv’Ébène, an open house as part of the Folk Arts festival, and more. From promoting culture to social and economic development, there hardly seems to be a field Sofifran is not involved in! The AGM was also a chance to lift the veil on a few projects that could take shape over the coming year. To carry them out, the organization will keep counting on its dedicated staff and its enthusiastic board members.
