ART'ificie Project - Passep'ART Micro-Grant

As part of our “ART’ifice” project, carried out with the organization SOFIFRAN and the Conseil scolaire Viamonde, we took part in several activities that brought our schools together to build connections and a sense of belonging in our diverse community. We held street dance workshops at École Nouvel Horizon, LaMarsh, and Franco-Niagara elementary and secondary schools. We also brought our young people from LaMarsh elementary school and Franco-Niagara secondary school to the “MONDE LE SON!” music festival.

As part of the project, we also organized a day together to celebrate everything we had accomplished, with a performance of Bill Bestiole, Les créatures du Jurassique. And let us not forget the students from Grade 1 to Grade 8 who were invited to help put together this outdoor party this past June 1, from the following schools: É.É. LaMarsh, É.É. L’Héritage, É.É. Nouvel Horizon, É.É. Franco-Niagara and É.S. Franco-Niagara. We thank the Passep’ART micro-grant for making all these wonderful gatherings possible as part of our ART’ifice project.
