Final project report, Vice Versa / D-52541 École élémentaire LaMarsh

To promote student leadership, the students created a long-term project on overall well-being connected to social justice. The school welcomed experts in mental health and anti-racism awareness, offered in French by The Get Real Movement inc. This workshop gave students the chance to grow their ability to recognize, unlearn and challenge racial bias and discrimination, through dance and through the conversations the artist encouraged. Students also had the chance to talk about subjects such as bullying and the LGBTQAI2+S community, and to broaden their knowledge on a range of topics.

This project was created in collaboration with the organization SOFIFRAN and the Conseil scolaire Viamonde, and thanks to the Vice Versa grant.
