On July 1, 2024, SOFIFRAN celebrated Canada Day alongside francophone and francophile families from the Niagara region. Under a bright sky and in a festive mood, the day was filled with cultural, artistic and community activities that brought young and old together around the values that make this country rich: diversity, solidarity and inclusion.
From music to traditional dances, from children’s games to tastings of dishes from many places, every moment showed the energy and creativity of the francophone community. SOFIFRAN’s volunteers and partners helped create a warm atmosphere where you could feel the pride of belonging to an open and diverse society.
The celebration was also a chance for SOFIFRAN to restate its commitment to supporting the integration, well-being and full participation of francophone women and families in Canadian society.
Canada Day with SOFIFRAN is much more than an event: it is a meeting of cultures, an affirmation of our francophone identity and a celebration of living together.
