More than 130 children celebrated at SOFIFRAN’s 2025 holiday party and intergenerational evening

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, SOFIFRAN held its Christmas party and its intergenerational evening at Sacred Heart Parish, 72 Empire Street, Welland, Ontario. The event drew a large and enthusiastic crowd of 185 participants, who came to celebrate the magic of the season together in a warm, welcoming, family atmosphere.

All evening long, young and old enjoyed a full and varied program. Board games, karaoke and musical entertainment were offered to the children under the caring and lively guidance of guest artist Suzanne Leclerc. These activities kept the children actively involved while creating precious moments shared across the generations.

Parents and children also met on the dance floor for spontaneous, festive moments that strengthened family ties in an atmosphere of simple joy. Christmas carols, sung together during the karaoke sessions, brought a moving and unifying touch to the evening.

On the food side, guests enjoyed a generous and varied buffet prepared with care by La Table de Calixte, which suited the tastes and expectations of every family there.

A highlight of the evening was set aside to thank the donors, whose generosity brought happiness to more than 130 children through the gifts that were handed out. This act of solidarity moved the families deeply and was a reminder of how much sharing and mutual support matter at this time of year.

The evening ended on a highly festive note, with dancing led by the DJ, leaving everyone with the memory of a celebration that was joyful, inclusive and full of hope.
