The gathering brought together people active in the francophone community to discuss the realities, the needs and the priorities for the future of French in Ontario.
SOFIFRAN is glad to have taken part in this moment of dialogue, consultation and collective mobilization for a stronger, more inclusive and more committed Francophonie in the Niagara region.
A full room, and working tables
The day ran around working tables, each with its own questions and its own facilitator. Participants wore their first name written by hand on a badge, and the observations were written down as they came. That is how a common position is built: by putting people who do not work in the same field side by side, and having them talk about the same thing.
