Starting your own business is a dream for many of us. Yes, but how? The fears, the steps to follow and the financing can all look quite intimidating from the outside. That is why Sofifran created the “EntrePrend” project, which prepares and supports participants as they start a business of their own and succeed as entrepreneurs.

This project, run with 3 active partners, SÉO, SADDEC and YPMD Consulting, is delivered through workshops until March 2020, in order to train, help and support any francophone woman who wants to go into business for herself. Our partners lead workshops that each cover an important angle of the entrepreneurial journey and prepare participants for the reality of business life.

• YPMD Consulting: workshop on “Entrepreneurial culture in Canada compared with the country of origin”. Goal: to understand and take in the differences between the two ways of doing things, and to see why entrepreneurship in Canada calls for a different approach.
• SÉO: a series of workshops made up of six sessions, the first of which is called “Lance ton affaire”. Goal: to give participants the tools and coaching they need to build and succeed in their business.
• SADDEC: workshop “Take the leap with confidence and rise to the entrepreneurial challenge”, a success story and the sharing of entrepreneurial experience and know-how.
