The project in detail

The “Fighting Racism” project is a strong and lasting commitment to confronting every form of racism, and above all the systemic racism that affects immigrants as a whole and Francophone immigrant women most of all.

The goal of this project is to educate, raise awareness and engage individuals and communities so they can recognize, take apart and fight the racist structures and behaviours found in different areas of society. We are committed to confronting the hidden injustices that persist within norms, laws, institutions and attitudes. The aim is to build a setting where diversity is valued and where inequalities based on race, religion, culture, gender and more are challenged with courage.

The “Systemic Anti-racism” project responds to an urgent need to address racial, religious, cultural, gender and other inequalities that are still present in our societies. Training is an effective way to spark reflection, to teach and to promote a lasting and meaningful shift in mindset. It gives every participant the tools they need to recognize racist patterns in their personal and professional lives, and to respond to them early.

Through this training, our goal is to strengthen social cohesion, to promote equal rights and to build a community where mutual respect and diversity are valued and honoured.
