The project in detail
With this grant, SOFIFRAN will be able to renovate its current office space so it can offer a welcoming, well-suited setting for the many activities and services that fall under the four areas of its mandate, while respecting the recommended physical distancing measures. With that in mind, SOFIFRAN plans to add a room next to its offices for social and cultural gatherings, educational workshops, intergenerational activities, crafts, a reading club for the little ones and more. To reach this goal, renovation work will be carried out to modernize the community space, along with the purchase of office furniture, computer equipment and household appliances.
This project is funded by: Employment and Social Development Canada, Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative (SBCCI)
