Students at Charles-Sauriol took part in a percussion and rhythm workshop, a doorway into world music, as part of the Les Voix du futur project.
Activity carried out as part of the “Les Voix du futur” project, Vice Versa grant D-54165 (Fédération de la jeunesse canadienne-française), in partnership between SOFIFRAN and the Conseil scolaire Viamonde.
Djembes in a circle and an artist in the middle: students learned to listen, to hold a rhythm together and to discover music from around the world. The workshop is part of the project’s world music and cultural discovery activities.
