A year of activities in French at David-Saint-Jacques: robotics and a competition, a sushi workshop, a health sciences workshop, henna art and end-of-year games, thanks to Vice Versa grant D-54198.
Activity carried out as part of Vice Versa grant D-54198 (Fédération de la jeunesse canadienne-française), in partnership between SOFIFRAN and the Conseil scolaire Viamonde.
Students built and programmed robots in class before taking on other teams in competition. They made sushi, put on lab coats and gloves for a health sciences workshop, discovered the art of henna and ended the year with outdoor games. Every one of these was a chance to live in French outside of class, work as a team and build confidence.
